If she has “aspiration” pneumonia, that is not contagious unless she has an overlying bacterial or viral infection. People with Parkinsons, ALS, etc. often get aspiration pneumonia because they have issues swallowing (muscles weakened by the disease) so they end up with gastric contents, food, etc. going down the wrong way & this causes inflammation in the lungs.
Also, if she does have a bacterial pneumonia, it’s not as contagious after a couple of days on antibiotics ... she was diagnosed some time last week so she could have been on antibiotics for days already.
Clinton & her docs are not going to want to admit to aspiration pneumonia if that’s the case because it brings up the larger question .... what underlying condition caused her to have this?
My mom had ALS. It effects you exactly the way Hillary’s symptoms exhibit themselves. Difficulty swallowing, tongue atrophy, coughing and choking, weakness in the extremities, and hypoxia. In the end, all ALS patients die from pneumonia or hypoxia.
