The Race for President is (Probably) Over
Dilbert.com ^ | 9/11/2016 | Scott Adams

If you are following breaking news, Hillary Clinton abruptly left the 9-11 memorial today because she was reportedly “overheated.” Her campaign says she is fine now.

You probably wonder if the “overheated” explanation is true – and a non-issue as reported – or an indication of a larger medical condition. I’m blogging to tell you it doesn’t matter. The result is the same.

Here’s why.

If humans were rational creatures, the time and place of Clinton’s “overheating” wouldn’t matter at all. But when it comes to American psychology, there is no more powerful symbol of terrorism and fear than 9-11 . When a would-be Commander-in-Chief withers – literally – in front of our most emotional reminder of an attack on the homeland, we feel unsafe. And safety is our first priority.

Hillary Clinton just became unelectable.

Couldn’t agree more with this post. The undeniable symbolism of this video, so alarming and tragic, will enter the subconscious minds of any and all swing voters who happen to see it. If they see it today, all the better.

Who can possibly recall the horror of 9/11, and thereafter cast a vote for commander in chief to a person in this state? It would be an act of sheer madness.

I actually think Burney is in much better shape even though a bit older.

I was thinking the same thing. She could be in a coma for all we know. Be interesting to see how long it takes for her to make an ‘appearance’ (if she does at all)...

“it’ll take 7-10 days before the Clinton Campaign withdraws from the race under advice of doctors.”

When I first glanced at that, I thought it said “under advice of donors.”

Yesterday it was announced she would be taking a five day break and I fully expected that that would be the lead up to her withdrawal. This made it certain.

She’s benched.

Adam thinks its for good. Players with disabling injuries during the season have to sit it out.

And Hillary is sitting out the election.

Google, Yahoo, MSNBC, the rest of the Rancid Media are trying to cover it up: she was “overheated” in 79 degree, cloud-cover.

Now, I admit I'm not a medical doctor, but I think if someone near me was overheating, I'd help them take their coat off, something that apparently never occurred to her staff.

But, what do I know. I'm just a deplorable.

Oveheating doesn’t pass the smell test.

Ambient temperature in NYC today: 78 degrees.

Very comfortable.

Rather Hillary became unelectable after what she said two days ago in calling Trump supporters “deplorable”.

CNN really is worse than MSNBC this election cycle. Even though they’ve been making a lot of excuses for Hillary on MSNBC, they’ve still been covering this as a major story.

68% humidity is taxing on a person in poor health.

79 F is nothing in a zero humidity place like CO. It can be debilitating for someone in NY in this kind of heat.

Especially when they’re also elderly. A heat wave is a silent killer of the aged.
