The on his way to meet the FBI is unsourced rumor. There is no official claim he was leak source, only a reward from Wikleaks for his killer.

Poor guy was probably abducted, held for hours, threatened/tortured to find out what he gave to Wikileaks, then released at 4am on a sidewalk so he could be ‘taken out’ by an assassin laying in wait.

If you just have to be a Dem’rat insider then you have
to set yourself up with an insurance policy. Keep all
of your dirt and the hard evidence of it in a very safe
place. Let it be known that such evidence exists and that
your demise will trigger the revelation of it. It may
not be “bullet proof “ but it is better than nothing. I
