>>The folks who have had surgery will get around this one too.

If they had the surgery, then I’m OK with them using the bathroom they switched too. It’s a statistically insignificant number. If they had the surgery, you probably can’t tell without really checking them out anyway. How much do you stare at the other person in the bathroom?

My concern is to keep the pre-op trannies and the perverts who “just woke up feeling like a woman today” out of the wrong bathrooms. The post-ops have to have some place to go.

If they have had the surgery and no one can tell they aren’t now a woman, it won’t come up like you say.

But if a woman complains that a man who everyone can tell is a man is in the changing room or bathroom, I’m not sure it should matter to a business owner if the guy has actually been cut up or not. A woman customer has complained that a dude is in there with girls, and that’s the bottom line. The business owner should be able to decide who the hell uses his own women’s exclusive areas, no matter what. And that decision shouldn’t be forced by the state to accept anyone just because they are mentally ill and also mutilated.

Might be worth doing some research on those post ops. From what I have read, women and children are not as safe around them as people think. Look up autogynephilia (and pass up all the sites that claim that it doesn’t exist). With or without surgical modification, those guys are suffering from a mental illness and some of them are just plain monsters. None of them, regardless of whether they have their original equipment or not, belongs in private spaces with women where real men can’t be present to provide protection.

It is very hard for a man to convince me that he is a woman. I see way too many female impersonators in the town I live and have become pretty adept as spotting them. I am teaching my kids, too, because I think it is important to survival to be aware of who is around you and might invade your private space. If one of them comes into a restroom where I am, I leave. Period. Acting like everything is normal is just playing into their little erotic fantasy of “passing” as a woman.
