Conrad Black is supposed to be some kind of genius. Here he demonstrates his tightrope walking abilities.

This statement seems so, so true. Even if Republicans sweep the 2018 off-year elections and win the Presidency in 2020, a victory for Hillary Clinton this year would have dire consequences.

This was the sentence that demolished his argument for me: "No serious person would believe Clinton deliberately endangered national security with her emails, or that she was directly suborned, through the Clinton Foundation or otherwise."
Really? Name a few.

Has this been a really quiet summer? Syria? Ukraine? China Sea? Norks? European migrant crisis? Brexit? Increased number of terrorist attacks throughout the world?

He's as much of a genius as the average American.
We know this is America's last chance.
It ain't hard to figure out.
Some kind of genius.
The genius of the common man (which is nothing to be sneezed at--it is this genius that made America great--and it is this kind of genius that will Make America Great Again).

For eight straight terms, from 1981 to 2013, either a Bush or a Clinton was president, vice-president or secretary of State, and both families put up candidates for their parties presidential nominations this year. There has never been anything remotely like such a co-regency in U.S. history, and it is not based on spectacularly good performance in office. Change must come. Trump is not an ideal personification of political change. But anyone who doesnt see what is happening, as Sen. Marco Rubio said when he was bombed in the Republican primary of his home state of Florida by Trump by nearly a million votes, has failed to see the tsunami." A nice summation of his argument. Well said.

Our nation’s dire straight was caused by serious people. People who think themselves serious and important are a plague upon us. He must have forgotten Clinton sold missile guidance tech to the Chi-Coms for campaign contributions the agents of which were the Red Chinese Army. Serious people indeed.

No serious person would believe Clinton deliberately endangered national security with her emails, or that she was directly suborned, through the Clinton Foundation or otherwise.
This is one of those half-truth lies that have been carefully crafted to be believable.
All serious people would agree that the Clintons did not spend $150,000 of their own money to create a private server for the PURPOSE of making her national security emails vulnerable to hacking; in fact, there is a video of Hillary admitting that the server was created to prevent Republicans from “pawing through her emails”.
HOWEVER: I believe that any serious person would have to admit that Clinton was willfully blind to the possibility of her server being hacked, and thus the possibility of national security being endangered; willfully blind because of her security briefings and the memo sent out under her name warning against the use of private emails; willfully blind because to admit the possibility would have led to a decision to shut down the server, which conflicted with her purpose of using the server. Willfull blindness is a worse character flaw than simple carelessness.
And as for “No serious person would believe Clinton was ... directly suborned, through the Clinton Foundation or otherwise” ... I submit that there is credible evidence for the opposite -— an $18,000,000 payment from a University to Bill Clinton followed by a meeting with the State Department; and a multi million dollar donation to the Clinton Foundation followed by the head of the Clinton Foundation calling a Clinton aide for a State Department favor ... unless the serious person was willfully blind.
