This bs will stop on January 20. (Just a prediction). I have a sneaky suspicion that on that date a 20,000 ton warship will not yield to a 500 ton patrol boat.
They daren’t run it down. It could be packed solid with HE to explode under the keel.
Our Captain should not have altered his course. It would have been up to the Iranian vessel to steer clear. A 20,000 ton warship would be somewhat restricted in its ability to maneuver which would require the smaller Iranian vessel to take action to avoid collision. I say RAM the shite out of them !
I suspect the displacements are a bit off (if you meant it that way for a purpose...I missed it!)
The USS Firebolt is around 350 tons, and I think the Iranian “patrol boats” are considerably less.
I will say, the USS Firebolt is a nice looking vessel to my eyes! (and I like the name as well)
