A doc makes a very detailed case for Parkinson’s. The coughing is from involuntary swallows where saliva goes down the wrong pipe, apparently common among Parkinson’s patients. The weird head jerks are from the meds.

I have witnessed what you say. I had a relative that has MD. Swallowing and speech was very difficult. Phlegm builds rapidly.
