I imagine that’s exactly what they will do. Obama gets his in-crowd kudos for being bold and fearless in nominating a Muslim, then the Senate holds it up past 1/20, the nomination dies with this Congress. And everyone here hopes Trump looks elsewhere for his judges.
His comment as quoted in the article is lacking ... “... United States District Court bench.” WHICH United States District Court bench? Or is limited knowledge Obama conflating any USDC bench with the one in the District of Columbia? Within a few short miles of the White House there’s a USDC-for the Eastern District of Virginia, another USDC for the District of Maryland. This is the kind of mistake he makes all the time. He really doesn’t know that much.
Trump would not be the slightest bit P.C. about it. He will give us plain vanilla.
