(Mark) Levin: I'm voting for Trump ... here's why
Conservative Review ^ | September 6, 2016 | Phil Shiver

Mark Levin made the big announcement Tuesday night on his radio show after methodically walking listeners through his rationale.

(snip)

It wasn’t all bad for Trump, however, as Levin later spoke positively about his tax plan, his positions on immigration, law enforcement, and foreign policy. Levin did offer a common and recurring disclaimer: Trump is NOT reliable.

But then … the announcement. Listen here:

(audio at link)

Before getting to Trump, Levin had plenty to say about Hillary Clinton. In short – she is far too dangerously liberal to allow anywhere near the Oval Office.

Only now do I see that Levin, who I thought was pretty bright, was incapable of seeing that this Presidential election is a BINARY contest.

That means; ONLY ONE OF TWO POSSIBLE CANDIDATES IS GOING TO WIN. It's either Clinton or Trump. Voting for a third or fourth party won't change that in the slightest.

I have known for DECADES that all Presidential elections are binary. It is simply the result of our "winner take all" system. In a parliamentary system, it frequently happens that various parties will unite in order to control the parliament. If the parties later decide to break up, then it causes a fall of the government and a new prime minister must be elected.

In our system, once the President is elected, that's it for at least two years. And even then the only thing that can happen is a change in control of Congress.

I'm disappointed that Levin has taken so long to realize something I have known for so long and which should have been apparent to any Republican since Trump won the nomination.

All of the good that Levin might have done between then and now has been lost for no good reason. What a disappointment.

If Levin can help rid us of the rest of the NeverTrumpers, then maybe he can be of some use.

Saying Trump is not reliable is not an endorsement. Levin is playing a different game. We’ll see what it is eventually.

IMHO, Levin sold out to the GOP-e for a $400K book deal, meanwhile trashing Trump ...

as he just did in his so-called ‘endorsement’.

Levin has lost all credibility.

“I do not trust Trump to do what he says he will do.”

I’ve worked with this conversation before, and I can cite reasons that he will do the things he says he will. I’d be happy to give you the run-down with cited reasoning.

All you have to do is read Art of the Deal.

... here's why

'Because I like my show and want to keep it. But at the rate I'm losing listeners maybe it's hopeless. So, I guess I better endorse Trump. It's my only hope.'

I was a regular listener to Mark Levin's podcasts. I gave that up several months ago. Not going back.

I’ll take it, too.

But, respect level is at a -1.

When Jim Robinson posted nice things about Levin last week, one could see this coming; FR is always ahead of the curve.

“(Mark) Levin: I’m voting for Trump ... here’s why” ...

“my ratings are tanking and the polls are showing Trump’s gonna win anyway, so I might as well get in line and follow the big dog, even if I am a day late and a dollar short.”

This must have been a very tough pill to swallow for Mark Levin.

But I applaud his decision to tell us he is voting for Trump.

Continuing his tirade against Trump was not helping the conservative cause. I just wish Ted Cruz would now endorse or at least publicly support Trump.

Ya know, after listening to The Great One’s rationale, I was ready to go all in for Trump. But after reading the comments here from freeper/Trumpsters, I’ll be damned if I vote for Trump. You people are freakin’ idiots!

Kiss my ass and goodnight.

I’m sure it wasn’t helping his listenership numbers (ad $$), either.

His ratings are in the tank. Nothing more to this than that. The asshat soiled himself with his constant whining about Cruz and put downs of Trump. Nice that he’s seen the light but he can go screw.
