Hence my move to central KY from Seattle in 2011.

I’m not as sanguine about our chances as the author. I agree with his final paragraph. It’s why I am were I am.

As I said in 2008, the problem is not the candidate. The problem is the electorate.

I’ve been saying it for 15+ years, when I became acquainted with Cynthia McKinney and her antics as the Congressional rep for the GA 4th District.

As I said at the time, what scares me is not that a Cynthia McKinney exists - it is that there is a Congressional District worth of people who will continually vote her into office.

That District is now held by Hank “Guam tipping” Johnson.

And of course since then, the entire country voted in Obama twice.
