Nothing has improved by eliminating those jobs that I can see. Energy prices are not cheaper, for sure.

Something else to think about is that to re-open
those mines will cost a lot of money.
It’s not just like turning off a switch.
Without being in operation those facilities
become more unsafe by the day.

And if the MSM did its job, they would send someone out there to interview the union President. Why hasn’t Fox done it? That is a HUGH and SERIES story.

In the past three years, Obama and his Ominions regulated two power plants in this neck o' the woods into shutting down. One was coal-fired, the other was a co-gen facility that used a variety of fuels
they are both silent and corroding away.
The small town they were part of for many decades no longer has any industry; the truck, rail and barge outfits that served them lost loads; the ripple effects are considerable in an area that - unlike the DC beltway - has no more fat to trim or padding to fall on. Best economy ever!

Just to show you how much union leadership is for the rank and file, Richard Trumpka used to be president of the United Mine Workers. Now this dim stooge is AFL CIO pres and biggest clinton boot licker to be found.

Didn’t he say something about transforming America?

Didnt he say something about transforming America? He sure did, we knew what he meant but, unfortunately for America, way too many low-info voters thought he meant unicorns and fairy dust, which in the end, is exactly what we got.

You are absolutely correct. My family worked in the mines, and I can tell you there aren’t a better, more inherently decent bunch than America’s coal miners.

There is a major difference between a union boss & a union member.
One HAS a job & paycheck. The other doesn’t
Guess who’s supporting obammy & hildabeast???
