I agree with you. I hear a lot of celebrities (and journalists) badmouth Trump in this manner, but they can't come up with any specifics.

This seems to be standard-issue left wing hate, like what was thrown at McCain and Romney. Any Republican nominee would be treated with the same disrespect. It is just what the Democrats do - they don't have facts on their side, so they call names.
