I find the chancellor’s new policies offensive and disrespectful. I demand that he be fired and confined to a ‘safe space’.
It was so refreshing to hear Mitch Daniels’ commencement speech at my son’s graduation from Purdue. Daniels specifically stated that students did not have a right to be free from being “offended.” He stated that free discourse of competing opinions was essential to the university environment.
It was refreshing to hear to say the least.
