I never said it was an intelligent or wise plan. You’re right. the things he’s doing are making him positively radioactive to other teams. That said, i’ve seen some goofy antics from players trying to get traded. Those guys usually had much better talent and the stats to prove it, though.

When he wore the “pig cop” socks he revealed his true agenda. He’s not standing for some higher moral principle, he’s a police hating punk who wants to incite violence - just like Obama. Their slogan: “My gangstas, right or wrong”.

Good point! Yes.. 20/20 hindsight...better plan. My thought was to keep him out of the Limelight so that he did not have the privilege, if you will of being seen by anyone but I do like your idea of basically shunning him in the opposite way

I've got a questions and I need everyone’s help. I peruse a leftist website on Facebook and contribute to educating these lefty fools. I've been asked why veterans have backed this basketball player's refusal to stand for the National Anthem. I don't know much about the VFW, American Legion members and how they feel about this guy, so I'm asking everyone on this site if they know how the vets feel, both active and inactive, about this attention seeking punk who “hates America.”

Unfortunately my step-dad passed in 1995. He just couldn’t let go of Vietnam and just gave up on his health. Only 47 and was killed in Nam and didn’t even know it!

Nam was not an easy war, no more than Korea or today’s are. My dad was WW2 and if not for cancer would have lived more than his 73 yrs as he was a healthy man other wise. He never really talked about it, then with 3 daughters talking war is not an easy topic.
