Definitely. He’s a public official acting under color of law who has just illegally deprived his players of their constitutional right to own hand guns. That’s a legally actionable civil rights violation under the United States Code,that could entitle the aggrieved players,to actual and punitive damages plus attorneys’ fees.

There is no question about this - every employee of the PUBLIC University of Missouri MUST abide by all Constitutional rights, or face the possibility of a PERSONAL lawsuit under Title 43, Section 1983.
