I’ve thought about it more than you have my FRiend. I am an advocate of the free market economy because it works. Sending up who’s for and who’s against does not move me in the slightest. I couldn’t care less who’s for it and who’s against it. There’s a lot of people out there who are confused about economics and specifically how the free market economy is freedom in action. The market economy, free of government interference, is how America became the strongest, wealthiest, greatest nation on earth.

You need to think on it some more, you’re confusing freemarkets here in the US with freetrade abroad.

So how do you explain George Washington’s tariff, the ensuing shipbuilding boom in the US and the exponential growth of US maritime from there?
