She tries to be a lady, at times she gets salty and things slip out ( she swore on the radio ) and I think post her cancer scare she moved more towards faith and being a better person. That might be what you are seeing in her style. She is not as loosy-goosey as she was 10 years ago tha is for sure.
FWIW, I think she will be Trump's Press Secretary as she does not suffer fools gladly.

The goal, as far as I can tell, is to speak about Hillary using phrases like “when she’s president” and similar language.
Verb tense can also be used in an attempt to spread the presumption that she’s going to win.
