The organization said Kaepernick’s comments show the quarterback has “an incredible lack of knowledge regarding our profession and officer-involved shootings, but also shows a naivety and total lack of sensitivity towards police officers.”
The SFPOA asked the NFL and the 49ers to “separate” themselves from the comments.
“While the SFPOA acknowledges Mr. Kaepernick’s right to speak his point of view and we stand by this right, we also recognize your organization’s ability to denounce his foolish statements and separate yourself from his actions,” the letter read.
Both the 49ers and the NFL have issued statements saying players are not required to stand for the national anthem.
The SFPOA closed the letter by offering Kaepernick, any member of the 49ers or the NFL the opportunity to come and spend time at the police academy to get a first-hand idea of the training of a police officer.

Kaepernick said himself that America stands for freedom and justice - to refuse to stand to honor her as the National Anthem is played because those ideals are not always realized is about the same as not paying Kaepernick any of his salary because he doesn’t complete every pass he throws......

Great story. That is how it should be. Usain Bolt stopping an interview out of respect for someone else’s national anthem (happened to be ours). BLM doesn’t believe in anything greater than each person’s selfish animal urges.

No, and no. Crapernick’s Mom was a fat white woman who had an African father. Kaepernick was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Heidi (Zabransky) Russo, a 19-year-old white woman who was single and destitute at the time.[1] His birth father, an African American, was out of the picture before he was born. He is the backup QB to Gabbert.

Absolutely. The commercials have become R rated. So obviously the sponsors endorse this behavior. I buy the limited amount of name brand items too.
