Sounds like a guy who pretty much knows his NFL career is over, and is now going “Scorched Earth.”

He thinks he’s a hero...he’s just a misguided fool.

His salary is reduced by $2 million a year for each year he sits.
He gets nothing if they release him.
They couldn’t release him this year as it would have kicked in a injury clause and that was more than his salary.

Michael Vick said last year he would play one more season. This joker must be aiming for the NFL’s MDP: most despicable player.

Last year he called someone the N word in a game. Now he’s standing with blacks, supposedly. Fishy.

Sounds like a guy who pretty much knows his NFL career is over, and is now going Scorched Earth. He is about to be beaten out of the starting job by none other than the legendary Blaine Gabbert.
That's enough to make anyone suicidal. :)

If the 49ers had picked Aaron Rodgers in the 2005 draft instead of Alex Smith, we wouldn't be in this mess.
Rodgers played for Cal just across the bay and was phenomenal.

I had no idea who this scumbag POS was until this story hit. If he catches a bullet...I would not care in the slightest.

I don’t think he’s going scorched earth, but trying to make headlines, get famous some other way than on the field.

When the 49’ers cut him, he will get a prime job as an analyst with ESPN. He is their kind of dude.
