Ever since reporting emerged that Trump might be softening his stance on deportations last weekend, the press has been trying mightily to figure out whether Trump still plans on deploying a deportation force to rid the country of undocumented immigrants, and this morning, Chris Wallace was the latest to try and get a straight answer out of the campaign. Conway seemed to send mixed messages, telling Wallace that there would be no legalization and no amnesty, but also making a rather unclear point about Trump and the deportation force: Now, the deportation force, I would like to address that. He hasnt mentioned that since last November, I think in a few of the debates as you point out. In his convention speech last month, hes consistent on that now in terms of addressing these many different areas of a complex issue. What Conway seems to be saying, then, is that while Trump will take no steps to legalize any of the undocumented immigrants who are already here, he also wont use a deportation force to deport them, and that if you go back to your home country, you can apply to come back legally. That sounds an awful lot like self-deportation, but we wont know for sure until Trump delivers on his now-delayed immigration speech, and even then, probably not. Donald Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway appeared to diminish the role of Breitbart News chairman and Trump campaign CEO Steve Bannon Sunday morning in an interview with Fox News Sundays Chris Wallace. When pressed about Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clintons speech blasting Trumps courtship of the racist alt-right, Conway told Wallace that shes in charge, and Bannon is a mere consultant...

ding, ding, ding we have a winner
What you said.
Kellyanne is NOT REQUIRED TO EXPOSE THE STRATEGY OF THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN .. its that simple .. get over it.
And she’s not going to either, unless she wants to, to Trump’s advantage.
These news readers are bringing their long knives to a gun fight.
I’m not sure why, but I don’t like her. She reminds me of Suzzane Sommers.
Where do they get the numbers of illegals from anyway?
Tedlim.
You are the one who seems perpetually confused. Perhaps some nootropics...
We know all we need to know.
Trump will build the wall.
Trump will enforce the border.
Trump will stop the influx of illegal drugs.
Trump will stop illegal immigration.
Trump will end sanctuary cities.
Trump will put Americans FIRST.
Trump will deport all illegal criminals.
Trump will end anchor baby citizenship.
Trump’s crackdown and enforcement of our laws will cause millions of others to self deport.
Seriously, is that not ENOUGH to start with?
“Where do they get the numbers of illegals from anyway?”
Out of their ass.
People who crunch the numbers using whatever methodology they can put it between 30 and 40 million.
Is illegal criminals code for mass deporting? I mean if you’re here illegally, you are a criminal. Let’s be clear and precise rather than phrases that give a broad side of the barn statementm
Apparently that’s what she’s saying. I think she’s fearful a bold and clear statement won’t play in Peoria.
I totally agree with you .. KellyAnne is not required to expose the strategy of the Trump Campaign.
If you thought I felt differently, you guess wrong.
Exactly right.
She is a highly intelligent person! Listened to the audio with both eyes closed to concentrate my whole being on her answers to tough Wallace questions I knew would come. Four clear times to put this issue of enforcement of migrant deportation law (law that clearly exists), or not to enforce the law.... and four times she wiggled out of it. Why can’t these DC insider wonks just answer a straight question, slow down from their rambling “Beltway Prattle” as I call it — talking fast to sound impressive, and stop answer each spin BS question with “Look... (yada yada yada). Not impressed. This is the approach he should be running away from....usual Betway Speak and Spin.
And if I were looking to obscure my intent, I would want her on someone like her on my team. And Wallace was tenacious in his questioning.
But if you're looking to obscure something, then what is it you're really trying to hide?
Those are my words. And they are true. To the hard core Trump supporter, he can say and do just about anything and like feminists who supported Clinton during Monica, those Trump supporters will do likewise for him. Some to do anything to keep Hillary out. Others who have fallen for the cult of his persona and personality. Neither is necessarily bad. Just understand that it exists. It's human nature to give a lot of latitude to someone who represent our values or gets us to where we believe we need to get to.
I live in National City, CA, hard by the Mexican border and just south of downtown San Diego. It’s 66% Hispanic (of course, meaning mostly Mexican). The % who are illegal is not known to me but the sheer number around me everywhere I go reminds me that there are far more than 11 million in country that’s been cited for a decade or more.
The Bannon issue is one I haven't paid much attention to, but would like to know from others here what the substance of this issue is. Is Bannon a vulnerability? If you went over the tapes of Limbaugh you could find a ton of commentaries, meant to be inflammatory and provocative in the context of being a media person, that when used in a non-contextual isolated fashion could paint him as a ‘radical’ right wing person. He's not, but if he were involved in a Republican campaign directly this is what they would do. Is this the same for Bannon?
ofc Wallace and his fellow Mediascums are NEVER “tenacious” in pursuing problems of the Democraps.
Yes of course, I didn't expect much else ... I could offer the entire context; and other contexts ... yet you are comfortable juggling upon your unicycle; enjoy the ride ...
Indulge me.
