Go to a hardware store and buy new snaps and the punch to install them. Ask how to use them.

This leather is a lot thicker, the snaps different. I hammered some tarp grommets into a gun belt for suspenders, so that may be one way to go, many thanks.
I’ll check with the nice lady at Hobby Lobby to see if they have something like that that will work.
Ross makes a nice holster, all but the snaps.
