I voted for Richard Nixon too, but deeply regretted that vote when he pulled Red China’s fat out of the fire just at the moment that they were in a precipitous fall.
Nixon destroyed the Chinese people’s chance at freedom, and did so willingly.

the politics of the time than I was.
Thank you for that information, and it’s a sad tale, but
I do believe that President Nixon thought he was doing
what was best for China and America, at the time.
Now I wish I had been more interested in the politics of
