The US Constitution is quite clear that treaties must be ratified by a 2/3 vote of the US Senate. That is not "complicated" (contrary the statment in the article), it is simple and obvious and has been in the US Constitution from the beginning. Affirmarive sir. It's not complicated. If all else fails, Trump could strike it down with an EO. Stroke of the pen, law of the land. Kinda cool.

This is exactly right. Somewhere along the way it became customary to accept unratified Treaty provisions and simply call them executive agreements — subject to the will and influence of future administrations.
That’s all executive orders really are.
