Perhaps Mr.Ed is available as a replacement. Most won’t know the difference.
I still remember the Family Guy gag... with the horse going into the bar and a black guy says “Why the long face?” and then the horse gets mad, and at the end they make up and the horse says “My name is Sarah Jessica Parker”
