Bernie Sanders doesnt have the first clue how an EpiPen works or what went into developing it, but hes sure he knows what one should cost, and hes sure who should decide him. You know what Bernie Sanders is? Hes a bum. He was damn near 40 years old before he ever found his way into a full-time job, and that was in elected office; before that, he collected benefits, sold his creepy rape fantasies for left-wing newspapers at $50 a pop, and never lifted a finger toward any genuinely productive enterprise. Hes been suckling greedily at the public teat since way back when he could remember where his car keys are. Funny thing, though: Now hes a bum with a third home on the waterfront of a Vermont island worth the better part of a million dollars. Every good apparatchik eventually gets his dacha. Mrs. Clinton is a bum and a crook who used the State Department as a funnel to guide the money of favor-seeking business interests at home and abroad into the Clinton Foundation, a sham charity that exists to pay six-figure salaries to Clintons (Chelsea is full-time executive there) and their courtiers

Chelsea Clinton was drawing a $600K salary right out of college.
She is undoubtedly drawing $1M+ annually these days.

As to the article, a little diffuse. I would call it nonresponsive. Why was the price suddenly raised by a factor of six? I didn’t see that addressed. Maybe I missed it, which is entirely possible.

One difference between dentistry and medicine is one odes not see one quarter of the commercials on TV suggesting one contact a lawyer about something the dentist might have done.

Anyone can buy this stuff online for a quarter of the price or use natural treatments. Only morons actually pay the sticker price.

Bad decisions? What does he mean and how did he get his teeth knocked out? This is the guy who wants working class people to die.

On the subject of pricing scandals, let’s not forget about public school taxes rising double digits each year for the last few decades...and that product doesn’t even work.

If the prescribed units cost $57 in 2007, does anyone believe inflation, taxes, or costs of manufacture pushed the price to $600 in less than 10 years???

I had never so much as seen the inside of a dentists office, so I didnt really know what to expect. It's hard to take the writer seriously when he starts out like this. Who makes it to adulthood without going to the dentist?

The epipen costs what it does because the government decided long ago that you were too stupid to use a simple pre-loaded syringe and that through their approval process and abuse of the patent system the maker of an autoinjector would be able to charge astronomical prices for a commodity medication.
Call me a commie if you want but abuses like this really burn me up. If the sale of a small kit with a preloaded syringe and whatever goes along with it were allowed by the imperial federal government the price would be back down to $15-$20 immediately.
