Good post, NIKK!
Someone was just speaking on Varney about polls and how the figures aren’t good for Trump on “temperament” and Hillary has been able to make this stick (didn’t hear all of it, so just mentioning the snippet of what I heard). I hear Trump’s “bad temperament” repeated on a variety of shows by the talking heads and nattering nabobs of negativism. These people must not be watching his rallies and policy speeches as I sure don’t see any bad temperament coming across in those; and, if his temperament was that bad, I don’t think he would have been able to excel in business like he has (I’ve read stories of people that negotiated with him that have said he was tough but fair and personable (paraphrasing). I wish they’d quit harping on this and he can do something to turn this around - I think he can and will do so :-) Someone needs to talk more about Hillary’s temperament and what was said in the book the USSS agent wrote - Trump mentioned a book briefly in one of his speeches this week.
FWIW, when the press uses the word “temperament” against Trump, they are not using the normal defintion of the word. It is a catchall for everything from bad judgment in general, to being bigoted, to being a hot-head, to being intemperate in remarks, and probably half a dozen other things. It’s a catch-all phrase, similar to how “not fit” is not limited to referring to physical and mental health.
It's ironic to hear from a person who's known to have a bad temperament and hard to get along with point her finger at a well liked and respected man.
