I'm thinking that one of them wasn't you. It is literally life a life or death adventure. Even top athletes sometimes can't do. Even getting to base station if for beyond most people capabilities.

A lot of people do it and it’s not cheap.
The people that do it are in damn good shape.
I have friends that do Ironman races and Ultra-marathons and they may not be in shape to climb Everest.
