I find this a much better way to view Earthquake Activity.

Go to link. Scroll down to EQ3D Free Edition. Download EARTHQUAKE 3D. Run it. The download only takes a couple of seconds. It runs standalone, no browser needed (or interfering with it). See EQ activity all over the planet in ways you could not see on any other map. Spin the planet as fast as you want to see everything. Even had a hidden mode so you can see EQ's on the opposite side of the planet. Many controls to play with.

AND IT's FREE !
