Something smells big time here. Manchin's daughter does an inversion to evade US taxes, gouges Americans on the price of epipen, gets paid $18 MILLION a year to do it. I suspect Democrats have been silent on this because the CEO is Manchin's daughter.

Looks like Mylan Pharmaceuticals didn’t hire Hillary to make a speech or make a donation to her foundation.

it is blatantly illegal under 15 USC, with a ten year per count felony prison term, to attempt to monopolize, restrain trade or price-fix. Therefore it is only because of the explicit, intentional and outrageous conduct of your own government that you are getting raped like this on a literal daily basis, and this issue, as I’ve repeatedly pointed out is not limited to EpiPens — in fact, Mylan has raised prices on dozens of off-patent, generic medications by about the same 500% in the last few years and the only reason they get away with any of it is the above use of government force.

Saw a link earlier. Obama made it law that only that brand of epipens had to be used in schools. I also think fed buildings too.

People do these things anymore because they can. There is never any punishment for wrong doing, particularly if you are a democrat.

Selfishness and pure greed rule the country.

Consequences for actions are needed.

I heard Mylan makes 85%. Who makes the other 15%? And it isn’t nice to call people maggots unless their last name is Clinton.

Bah. Name brand versus generic. Pharmacist quoted me outrageous price with name brand, IIRC north of $300. Got the generic for less than $20 each.

Where are there cheaper alternatives? Her company is the only company manufacturing them in the USA.

Maggots are a useful and integral part of the ecosystem. It's not nice to compare something useful to the Clintons.

That would be a vial and a hypodermic needle. I hope you have had training for safely injecting yourself. Epipens are sealed and basically self administer. You need to clean the injection area, store the hypdermic needle, keep the vial cool and aside someplace. I wouldn’t trust my kids life on a $20 deal....

I am seeing $650 ish prices on goodrx.com

This is crazy. It is nothing more than a dose of Epinephrine.
If I recall this is less than $5 for a vial.

Even generic auto injectors are $350 for two.

Other problem with these is the govt law require destruction when the med gets to a certain short age and replacement at the same outrageous prices.

Out of control situation.

I was misremembering. When quoted by my pharmacist, it was $300 for a two-pack, with my insurance, it was $35 for a two-pack. They are real Epipens. Not a vial and syringe.

Just my faulty memory.
