Why is there an American University in AFGHANISTAN??

There are American Universities all over the world.
Why? To educate the heathens as to the ways of Rome.
It’s like a franchise and is standalone from other American U.’s It has staff from all over the world - I interviewed there for VP Finance when in Kabul but had a US Passport. The dean is a former dean of UNC. Americanized but not owned by Americans - started by Laura Bush ca. 2007.
