I think evolution of one species to another is verboten at the Creation Museum, right?

Wrong. Read the first link. The division of one species into two is a key part of the post-flood diversity, but it is not the type of change required for molecules-to-man evolution.

It generally results from the genetic isolation of two groups followed by a loss of information in one or both groups that make it impossible for members of one group to produce fertile offspring with members one group. They are still of the same kind (the biblical term - elephants are still elephants), but no longer of the same species (which is really a modern concept.)

We don't refer to (frequently-observed) speciation caused by the loss of genetic information (or errant copying of existing information) as "evolution" to avoid confusion with the General Theory of Evolution, which requires the massive creation of new information (and has never been observed.) Those advocating the GTE generally refer to any type of change as evolution because they want all of it to appear to advance their theory, when in reality, it doesn't.

Rhinos - white and black - have diversified (evolved?) so much so that they cannot really interbreed outside a lab: dense article on the subject. That's a lot of evolution in 3000 years - about 150 generations! All the way from different species to different genera (Ceratotherium simum for the White rhino and Diceros bicornis for the black rhino).
