1. She takes and holds the office while others do all the work. Effectively it'd be the DNC elites running the show.
2. She bails before the election and tosses the ball to Biden, Kaine or someone else. Effectively avoiding them being vetted or having to campaign much.
3. She bails after the election and hands the ball to Kaine.
