This is exactly why George Bush didn’t do a photo op in New Orleans the day after the city flooded. I’m sure we all recall how his statesmanship was lauded at that time.
And, prior to the Bush decision whether to go/not go, the media had their attack plans ready to put into operation:
1. If Bush goes to New Orleans, we will say he is doing it for purely political reasons, is getting in the way of relief efforts, and obviously doesn’t care about these poor people.
or
2, If Bush doesn’t go to New Orleans, we will say there’s all the proof you need to see that Bush doesn’t care about black people.
Slime ball media whores...but, they got it figured out that no one (few anyway) is on to them.
