Look, we have the RKBA here in the US and it doesn’t stop terror attacks. It will not stop Sharia Law Zones, it will not stop immigration of refugees from terrorist sponsor nations, some of which will be radical jihadists.
Islam is the problem and it should be banned from our shores along with anyone that practices it. That is the policy the world can live with.
Take note that the places that have been hit with terror attacks in the USA have been those where the RKBA has been suppressed, albeit unconstitutionally.
I agree that Islam should be banned in America and every western Nation.

They operate out of fear and greed.
Fear of not being seen as PC and the greed of both self-preservation and the their ability to leverage the media, Government and the rest as an easy way out to maintain their existence.
The entire complex is “Self Fulfilling”.
Most don’t even know what they are doing. They just think they are doing their job without any real consideration for the ramifications of their efforts. They just want to get along and get their paycheck.
