Socialism is NOT about equality. It is actually predicated on exactly the opposite principle. Socialism is the political system that creates a dichotomy between demigods and the supposedly homogeneous masses. It is the ultimate ego trip for those with Messiah complexes. Marx was an arrogant a***ole who wanted to diminish everyone else (i.e. the ‘Bourgeoisie’) that he resented. The language of his writings exuded anger and bitterness, and IMHO he was a narcissist angry at the world because it didn’t recognize how ‘great’ he was.

Saw a statement once that Marx had a couple dozen
volumes of his writings stored in the Kremlin that they
will never release. If so, there must be some really
embarassing stuff for his Red worshippers.

It is worth noting that Marx never had a real job but bummed off of his friends and relatives pretty much his whole life.

Socialism is NOT about equality....

I love quoting myself:

The primary beneficiaries of a socialist program are the socialist politicians. The secondary are the bureaucracies, and tertiaries are the supposed recipients. Everything after is fluff.
