Oh I think the threat is real enough. There is evidence, at least to me that the last election was affected by voter fraud as well.

Thks for this link, my gravest fear is in who takes the ballots from the precinct and who has the chance to reprogram the votes? There can be no security without paper ballots counted in a room filled with observers. Tho Florida hoped to chad its way to a Gore victory, they lost because their cheating was caught. I also worry about our overseas military ballots which went astray one time when they were needed. In summary, we must return to ballots dropped anonymously in boxes. So obvious. Needs a bumper sticker:)
