Attorney Cathy McCulloch had a client who was accused of eight counts of raping his own daughter over a six year period. The man adamantly denied that he had ever laid a hand on his daughter, but the girl gave a very "compelling interview" to police and shared explicit details of the crime.
Her client mentioned that his daughter's favorite book was Fifty Shades of Grey, and it appeared that she may have been using material from the book to give her testimony.
After picking up a copy of the book, the team found 17 different examples pointing to the racy novel as material for the girl's accusations against her father.
After just seven minutes, she broke down and admitted she had made up the accusations to teach her "strict" father a lesson. After the prosecutor re-examined the girl a second time, the father was granted an immediate acquittal.
It is beyond rare for a father to rape his own daughter. Virtually every time I hear this sort of thing, it turns out it is the STEP father, not the father.
So right away I’m skeptical.
I have three daughters in their 20’s and early 30’s. Although all three are extremely attractive, I can’t even imagine looking at them in any kind of sexual way. It’s ludicrous.
She has proven herself to be toxic, vengeful and quite comfortable with lying to authorities . She’s fine with making other family members suffer life altering events just to sooth her too fragile, too overgrown ego.
Any man she gets involved with in the future had best beware.
This is me saying this. I haven’t had any children at all.
So, I don’t know how likely it really is that a parent would take preventive, defensive actions against their own child, even when they are deserved. Some parents could never bring themselves to do it.
Wow, then he’s in trouble, she’s reading that crap and has accused him of that wrongly so? I hope she straightens out, but this could be very bad.
You do realize the kid made it all up, right? She was using passages from the book as her script. Dad was innocent.
I think of 50 shades of gray as our modern cultural equivalent of Deep Throat. THAT movie got middle aged women into xxx movie houses. It was shocking.
50 Shades of Gray is rightfully called mommy prn.
;) It must be.
The actual movie was far more subtle and gentle in it’s depiction of ‘rituals’ than I had expected. I suspect others thought the same, as the gross earnings went down very quickly after the first two weeks.
There is a reason animals eat their young. She’d never darken my doorway again. Ever.
“She should go to jail for a long time.”
Couldn’t find her age but the lawyer said that the episodes as she described them were beyond her years.
;) Thanks.
The comments from people who don’t read the article are always the best.
He’s not marked. She admitted to it. And I would not want anyone to continue to be in my circle of friends if that wasn’t enough for them to see me as completely exonerated.
Guess who’s out of the will?
She has proven herself to be toxic, vengeful and quite comfortable with lying to authorities .

Hillery is involved as well? Wow!
More than half of “50 Shades” sold were bought by US American women.
Said women are about - lets say - 2-4% of the world population.
Draw you own conclusions .....
The Prosecutor and cops involved should be fired.
It’s about a vapid Mary Sue (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MarySue) who, because she is a Mary Sue, gets hired as a personal assistant by a wealthy businessman even though she has no real applicable skills (she doesn’t know how to use the internet, for example).
Then she agrees to sign a contract that stipulates her boss can use her for bondage/submissive sexual escapades. Of course, it’s a book for women, so even though he treats her like dirt and has no interest in her romantically, she ends up making him fall in love with her anyway...
It is just an erotic novel written for women-I got it from B&N when it first came out to see what all the shouting was about-but I just didn’t find it sexy-I think it was written for women who are into being dominated by a man and mild S&M-I traded the book to a neighbor for a Bernard Cornwell novel I hadn’t read-she liked the book, but she is a little weird anyway...
Again, the barely qualified writer strikes!
