This guy was a lawyer, he was not an idiot. Someone decided off them off in the gory way to let other people know to shut their mouths.
You are right...a lawyer would take pills, or make it look like a car accident for the insurance for the family.

Gory, sure, but it’s not painful when death is basically instantaneous. Men tend to favor such “sure fire” methods of suicide, they care more about getting the job done than whether they might leave a mess behind.
