Doesn’t the F-22 have one of those high-tech skins that doesn’t like foul weather? The F-15 doesn’t have to sleep in air-conditioned hangars, so it has a much longer list of viable runways it can be deployed from.
If they can keep the B-52 in the air for half a century, they ought to be able to wring another decade out of the Eagle.
I think initially it did, but it’s been corrected. Thus, it’s no longer an issue.
True but the F-22 and F-35 has a lot less maintenance time between flights.
Haha about the B-52! I know a former BUFF pilot and a navigator. Well I guess the B-52s are still good because most countries in the world do not have a better bomber?
