Standard operating procedure. I’ve observed this my whole adult life. Scandal, such as Dennis Haster, will always make his party affiliation prominent. Democrat scandals will have it buried deep in the article or not disclosed at all.

The other trick is for a Dem member of the house to have a scandal....the media will always use “Rep. John Doe accused of X” - trying to make you think it’s a republican and not Representative...
