Actually, I did play last night with some of my soul brothers and not a single political comment was made. Weird huh?
It’s just an observation I’ve noticed over the years.
The darker-skinned blacks seem to be more cool about race-relations. It’s the lighter-skinned ones that tend to be the most ambivalent. Probably because they feel like their skin isn’t darker they have to compensate to show they “belong to the club.”
