I would like to have it labeled also, and I am a little confused that it is not being labeled. Don’t the Muslims WANT to know if it is halal or not? Weird. I’d never buy it, on principle.

Halal slaughter involves turning the animal toward Mecca and offering it to Al-lah. In effect, it's a sacrifice. Do you want to eat meat that is offered as a sacrifice to Al-lah? Do you want to support Muzzlimes?

Kosher meat does not involve any offerings, just abiding strictly to a humane slaughter technique and post-slaughter salting and soaking in water. Kosher meat is clearly labeled as such, as observant Jews wouldn't touch it without that assurance.
