Trump spokesperson Katrina Pierson argued that President Obama took the US into Afghanistan. The war in Afghanistan began in 2001 during President George W. Bush's administration.

The fact is, Afghanistan and the Taliban should have been turned into green molten radioactive glass after 9/11/01 if only for their making Osama bin Laden their ‘commander-in-chief’ of their armed forces and giving him refuge.
After that, Saudi Arabia should have likewise received the green glass conversion therapy, and would have if the President at the time wasn’t bought and paid for like the rest of the despicable Saudi-asslicking Bushes.
The media knows what Trump meant by his sarcasm. The only reason they question it is to suck one of his spokespeople into a gotcha moments. They don’t like it when Trump toys with them by not defining his terms. However, the public knows what he is saying because he speaks their language.
It’s worse than I thought! Is CNN really that dumb or are they that determined to destroy Trump with lies?
The first troops sent to Afghanistan under Obama was in the spring of 09 but had been set up by Bush and was under Bush's budget.
Obama's first decision on Afghanistan would come in Oct 2009 and he had begun to publicly express doubts because the spring deployment had been largely unsuccessful.
That is when Dick Cheney made his famous statement about Obama "dithering on Afghanistan".
Cheney said Bush made a policy change on Afghanistan, let candidate Obama have a look at it and Obama adopted it as his own, but was now dithering.
That was a major media event and a Google search of "Obama dithering on Afghanistan" will get many results.
Eventually Obama did give the order for more deployments to Afghanistan and eventually put Gens Petraeus and Allen plus ambassador Ryan Crocker in charge of Afghanistan. These were the same 3 men that Bush put in charge of Iraq in 2007.
I am beginning to wonder if Trump wants to lose. I keep thinking about how he was friends with the Clintons. Maybe America is being punked.

He said Obama and Hillary created ISIS, then said he was being sarcastic. Does he mean he doesn’t think they created ISIS? I thought they did but now I’m confused. I’m glad you understand Trump. I’m not sure I do.
