An IRS official told the Washington Post in April that there was no reason Trump could not release his tax returns prior to 2009.

Really? What is an IRS agent doing saying anything to any member of the public about any individual's tax return.

This official needs to be removed from office and otherwise sanctioned.

Second, this is the IRS itself suggesting that Trump has reason not to release his returns from 2009 and later.

In addition to what you say: IRS has no law against Trump releasing his tax return; it is Trump’s lawyer who advises him not to do so. I have noticed that the media continues to say THE IRS HAS NO PROBLEM WITH TRUMP RELEASING HIS RETURN. They never add that that is not the issue, it is the lawyer of the client.

The media is so biased. They do not tell the truth when conservatives are involved.
