I’m sure Priebus wanted to see for himself the kind of crowd that shows up at Trump rallies.

I took a look at info about Romney’s August 2012 schedule, and it was almost all fundraising, and relaxing. A few small rallies here and there, but nothing close to what Trump is doing.

I also found out that Romney’s crowds in October 2012, were mostly smaller than what Trump is drawing in August. He did have a rally a few days before the election that drew 30,000+, but his rallies were not impressive at all. Did see the picture of when Romney rented a stadium for a rally, but the seats were totally empty and about 200 people were clustered around the speakers platform on the field, what a laugh.

Also, 0bama’s rallies in 2012 were actually fairly small, much much smaller than he had in 2008. Most of his rallies in 2012 were 10,000 or less, with some really big ones of about 30,000 towards election day.

Trump rallies now are in the 25,000-50,000 range when you include youtube audiences. That is a lot of people. Hillary is not even in the same universe when t comes to competing with this which is why with having spent hundreds of millions on advertising she is not making a dent into Trump.
