I was going to post the article but wasn't sure if you were talking about Mohave, but I notice now that you have posted it.

That was just one part of a much bigger deal. Many different "land bills" affecting all the western states were gathered into an amendment to the defense spending bill and it was done in a voice vote.

You may recall that another part to that in AZ was the Rio Tinto copper mine getting 2500 acres of tribal land in a land swap.

Rio Tinto is a foreign company and resolution copper is the name. I have mixed feelings about that.

Actually this was not part of the spending bill. This was separate legislation.
