Donald J. Trump tried to quash the latest controversy engulfing his campaign, suggesting on Friday that he was not serious when he said that President Obama and Hillary Clinton were the founders of the Islamic State terrorist group.
After making the suggestion at a rally on Wednesday night, Mr. Trump doubled-down on the assertion on Thursday, insisting in multiple interviews that he really did mean it when he said that the president and Mrs. Clinton were responsible for ISIS. But in an early-morning Twitter post, Mr. Trump said that he was just being sarcastic.

The MSM has executed a deft move in which it put itself in a pretzel hold and is still twisting chasing after Trump. So, he leads them on, they put another couple of turns in the knot, and then find they cannot breathe.
Removing troops from Iraq created the nessasary vacuum to create ISIS. We then gave Iraqi troops modern equipment which they promptly surrenderEd (And still surrendering) to ISIS.
We then forment an “Arab Spring” to overthrow governments in Egypt, Libya and Syria. We have the leader of Libya assassinated and ship his stockpiles of arms to ISIS in Syria exacerbating a civil war.
All of this creates a mass migration of civilians and jihadis into western Europe and the US.
Bumbling foreign policy or planned events?
ISIS = Taliban = Al Queda = Mujahideen...ect,ect.
The simple fact of the matter is the government cultivates these organizations to terrorize in order to sway public opinion.
The British used Native Americans and Hessians in a similar manner prior and during the revolutionary war.
This is what is called “low intensity combat” and “we the people” are losing.
Hope & Change...for islamists.
>> Do you believe he was being sarcastic? If so, why do you believe it?
He tweeted it. Also, it makes little sense the other way.
Why?
Trump keeps the media guessing. Let them fill in the blanks. He still comes out ahead and Hillary is still ridiculed.
Trump was onto something but should have used a different word - ‘enabler’.
He is always “walking something back”. Why can’t he say something and stick to it? Walked back muslim remarks.
And why is his clothing line made in foreign countries?
Can’t really answer your questions. My point was that one can repeat the same sarcastic comment multiple times, so there is really no inconsistency between what he said yesterday and today. The media would have you believe that it couldn’t have been sarcasm since he repeated it.
It took more than a vacuum. It took the supply of arms, munitions and perhaps even uniforms, food and cash. ISIS is clearly some government’s or governments’ construct. This is not a spontaneous uprising of raggedy stink hands.
Obama himself is a common proponent of this idea that US policy is the major creator of terrorists. I don’t know how he can deny that he has created these terrorists since he is after all the formulator of US policy.
I think that’s called pretzel logic. He’s beginning to come off as undisciplined and erratic. He needs to focus his attack and proceed

Why why why
Why the 4am tweets
>> pretzel logic
You may be right, but that’s better than no logic at all.
Well I think he knew if he didn’t back off this “founders of ISIS” nothing else would be covered. That’s the way the dishonest Clinton supporting MSM is, especially CNN. So here’s what I think he’ll do. He’ll say that they both enabled ISIS to grow into the monster it became and this was because they pulled out of Iraq. I tweeted him (maybe he’ll read it), and said “Ray Kroc didn’t “found” MacDonald’s, but he damn sure turned it into what it is today”. I don’t think Trump will back off saying they are responsible for turning the ME into a haven for terrorists. He’s right. They’re wrong. Ollie North had a great explanation last night on Hannity. He said if BO and Clinton hadn’t pulled out of Iraq that ISIS wouldn’t exist and then told the reasons why. Maybe Trump was listening.
He should not go on the defense. Double down on the truth.
Rudy Giuliani whom I consider to be one of the foremost authorities on terrorism has called them this for quite some time.
No way?
