The price of scallops is outrageous. But the Thai restaurant was closed (proprietor’s son is a Navy man, and the proprietor is off to graduation or some function), and this mess of food ends up the same price as “ginger chicken 4 stars”

—I know right! I live within 100 miles from ocean and scallops here are pricey but I can go to Japanese grill restaurant and they aren’t a bad price
