“those huge amounts of votes preloaded onto machines”

And the memory cards in the machines that read the paper “Scantron”-type ballots can be programmed to miscalculate the totals. There’s a video demonstrating this. One naïve woman who believed elections can’t be rigged actually was crying when she saw the proof.

I think FL voting — at least in some precincts — is by this method. Fill in the circle with pencil. Ballots fed into reader. A paper tape spits out the totals which, in the demonstration, did not correspond with the true votes cast. All the hacker/rigger had to do beforehand was to monkey with the memory card, stick it into the machine before voting started, and the deed was done.

It didn’t affect only the paper printout. As a further test they connected the voting machine to a PC via cable, and results still were wrong.

I've seen one video on that. Pretty clever gambit. The "totals" are always correct. But only the totals are correct.

Vote tabulation card is brought to the machine, and confirmed to have zero total votes on it. Check.

Voting takes place. Number of ballots cast matches number of ballots counted by the machine. Check.

But the number of votes for each proposition? Off by a country mile. How can that be?

The "zero total" votes on the "blank" card was actually 10 votes for one side, and negative ten votes for the opposition. Total? Zero.
