Acknowledge the oversight (if called to do so) and move on. Then, when peppered with question after question about the same thing (as the media is wont to do), you can say, "The campaign has addressed this issue and is moving on." Or, when the evening "panels" of Trump-bashers follow-up and follow-up, beating this dead horse, your spokesperson (I would use that Pierson girl every chance I get) can "wonder" aloud what sort of interest in pedophilia the media has that they keep bringing this "issue" up when Trump has already addressed this. Maybe even opine as to whether or not they are in support of making Pedophilia the next human right (as some of them actually do).

See, this is where I have a hard time with our side. If Mark Foley had been making the moves on your child (Freeper, please imagine yourself in this situation right now), you would want to take him out back and flay him. And rightly so. Pedophilia is not homosexuality as some here are trying to equate. I get it that the media over-hypes everything to the point of end-times mania, but we don’t have to act like we have to defend every little indiscretion.
